Happy Diwali

Cranmer would like to wish all of his Hindu, Sikh and Jain readers and communicants a Happy Diwali.

As you celebrate your festival of lights, may you draw nearer to the Light of the World.

As you contemplate your row of lamps, may you find the lamp unto your feet.

As you recommit to family values, may you seek the source of joy, love, and forgiveness.

Sir:

I have great respect for the faiths you compliment today, in no small part because they are under no theological imperative to use coerce me into agree with them (nor I, them).

Christ's Peace,

Lord Peter

Multi-faith crap. I don't read your blog for this. You are leading people to Hell with this sort of stuff instead of preaching the Gospel and the path of salvation.

Read it again Mr Anonymous. You'll find the very thing you suggest he is not doing is exactly WHAT he is doing, only in a tolerant way as opposed to a Bible-bashing, imposing uncomfortable and irritatingly intolerant sort of way. Unlike some.
