The media conspiracy against Israel

Cranmer has one simple question:

Why is this so widely reported...

Prominent British Jews call for ceasefire in Gaza

Group of British Jews calls for Gaza ceasefire

Prominent British Jews urge Israel to stop Gaza attacks

British Jews rally for peace in Middle East

....when we are hearing nothing about those Arab and Muslim states (not to mention the thousands or millions of individual Muslims) who happen to believe that Israel is fully justified in its operation in Gaza, or who believe that Hamas deserve to be ‘wiped off the map’?

The reaction from the Arab world has been mixed. In some Arab countries there have indeed been chanting protesters, burning flags and attacks on embassies. But from others has either been a muted silence on the conflict or an unequivocal condemnation of Hamas.

And what has the BBC said about this? Where has this been reported in the great British media?

Saudi Arabia has not given its support to Hamas. Egypt has roundly condemned Hamas, blaming them for provoking the conflict. Jordan has remained detached, Syria has been decidedly lukewarm, and let us not forget that there have been voices raised among the Palestinians themselves in condemnation of Hamas.

With Iranian influence and involvement in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza, there is a feeling in many Arab countries that they are all beginning to share borders with Iran, and this is far too close for comfort. President Ahmadinejad may want Israel wiped off the map, and he would not be too bothered if a few Sunni nations were casualties in the process. If one were to believe the media narrative on this conflict, the whole of Arabia and all the world’s Muslims are incandescent with rage at Israel's ‘unjust’, ‘disproportionate’ and ‘illegal’ offensive against Hamas. But things are seldom what they seem. Skimmed milk masquerades as cream. There are some leading Arab nations and hundreds of thousands of level-headed Muslims who secretly long for an Israeli victory.

But the media dare not say so, for it conflicts with their prejudicial worldview and their foreordained, liberal, left agenda.

Sir Jeremy Greenstock was on Radio 4 this morning saying that the much purported links between Hamas and Iran do not exist, that this is just propaganda.

You are right to say there is a lack of robust information about the ins and outs of who is doing what and where in this conflict. But, given the participants who are involved, what do you expect?

Your Grace,

Grennstock's view were trenchant and informative.

But let's also understand that a lack of support does not equal condemnation. Or are we to adhere to Marxist principles here - "if you are not for us then you are against us"?

Let us see whether people now begin to understand the realities. Greenstock's comments are a good start.

There are no Iranian missiles being fired by Hamas into Israel.
I don't know where people get this mad idea from that there are links between Hamas and Iran.

Greenstocks comments, far from being a good start, were supportive of Hamas, and completely failed to take account of the grim reality of Hamas stated position to destroy the Jewish state.

Greenstock is one who swallows the Hamas line spun for its western mouthpieces, that its charter is simply rhetoric. Greenstock has, apparently never heard of the principle of taqqiya
(The word "al-Taqiyya" literally means: "Concealing or disguising one's beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of imminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury." A one-word translation would be "dissimulation." )

This principle explains the huge difference in what terrorist leaders say in English to western spokesmen and what they say in Arabic to their followers. Try looking at for what Hamas REALLY thinks, not Jeremy Greenstock.

Because the media fears islam, I have a dvd with a top bbc exec being interviewed by an IDF soldier after Jenin asking him why the bbc only criticises and condemns Israel, his response is'because israel does not issue fatwa's'.Egypt has closed the border to Gazans and the gazans themselves elected a terrorist government that openly proclaimed their desire to engage in terror with Israel.

12 January 2009 at 20:38
Blogger Unsworth said...

So 'supportive of Hamas', eh? Well that's an interpretation. Greenstock did not support Hamas' warlike actions. What he did highlight is the ongoing failure of the Israelis to honour their obligations and agreements. He was not asked to comment on other issues - and did not do so.

And quite astounding that anyone might believe that dissimulation is unilateral.

Yes, Your Grace; I think it's true that our enemies have bought the media, and control them fully.

Unfortunately, we're daft enough to go on paying into them - not only by listening, watching, and believing, but also by paying cash that further enriches the euSSR and the Caliphate!

Meanwhile - the boy from the Manse and the euSSR ---- What are they perpetrating on us while our attention is elsewhere?

The ancient folk of the Middle East had their propaganda too, with religions and groups competing to prove that their god or gods were the most fearsome and their vengeance the most awful. I am guessing that the Koran fits this brief, as does some of the Old Testament. Obviously, when people thousands of years later start to take these things literally we have a problem. I am reminded of Tamerlaine or was it Genghis Khan who on one occasion constructed a platform and put the male citizens of one of the cities he conquered underneath; to be crushed while he and his men drank, raped and killed their womenfolk above. This was his propaganda for other cities on his path towards the Middle East. You see the nature of the times. And some folk want to take these books at face value and live their lives in our age by those codes!

Not long ago we had the Iran, Iraq conflict, both Islamic states, in Europe we've had Armadas, civil wars, World Wars, the Irish conflict, all fought between apparent Christian nations, in 1066 the papal goffanon flew at Hastings. Its all about power & the leaders of nations will play war games with peoples lives, of course the media will support the side it feels will benefit it most. Thus only the view that is currently pc will be circulated. Sad but true.

Horatio - there are more things to the issue than you can see with one eye!!!

Some people (especially Christians) believe in searching for something called TRUTH. Some journalists once followed that path. Some other people, at various times, have tried to redress the balance against 'current pc' and, - within living memory, 'pragmatism' (which would serve pc) was not an admirable quality.

"You should have the courage of your convictions" they taught us. That's not the same thing as bow and scrape to the squeaky wheel and the men with the money. So - I say if the euros and the Caliphate insist that our own media bombard us with claptrap and lies (under the guises of 'modernity' or 'binocular vision' - then we stop paying them for it and start publishing our own stuff. And if the euros and the tell us we cannot - then we carry on publishing and ignore them.

Then see what happens.

That Shakespeare knew a thing or two, and how to put them across; didn't he? No wonder the Marxist boyos want to destroy our admiration for him:

"This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall,
Or as [a] moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands;
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England," (RII: II.i; 46-50)
. . .

"Is now leas'd out--I die pronouncing it--
Like to a tenement or pelting farm.
England, bound in with the triumphant sea,
Whose rocky shore beats back the envious siege
Of wat'ry Neptune, is now bound in with shame,
With inky blots and rotten parchment bonds; (RII: II.1 59-64)

Admittedly his Plantagenet John of Gaunt was talking about euro campaigns, Crusades, and an incompetent head of government.
So? The more things change...

It is nice to see that many more sane Muslims want Hamas destroyed. Allah wants Hamas to meet their virgins. Hamas is what makes Gaza much worse than it could be. If they would give up the dream of destroying Israel and the Jews and stopped all missiles and suicide bombers, and all terrorist attacks, Israel would welcome doing business with them, and things would be peaceful. But they can't do this as long as they follow their Koran strictly.

There is no negotiating with a mad man, or with Jihadis who want to die to go get their 72 virgins.
I hope Israel doesn't quit too early. If Israel is destroyed, terrorism in the rest of the world will just increase, it will never stop, as long as there are Radical Muslims, or rather, Muslim Fundamentalists; who are appeased, defended, and kissed up to.

The fact is there is a log rolling exercise under way to get Obama to invite Hamas to The White House which will certainly cause Hillary Clinton to explode. Britain sees itself as a Muslim "voice of reason" knitting terrorists into "lupenreine Demokraten" to paraphrase Gerd Schroeder.

Britain is working backchannels with those the US under Bush opposed and vilified. British Governments are perfidious and their mouthpiece the BBC is

Islam has two faces, or rather two houses.
1, There is the House of Islam =all who are submitted to allah= muslims.
2,The house of war= all who must be made to submit to allah =infidels.
The aim of Islam is to make the whole world submit to allah by peaceful means or by jihad.

This may or may not be true, but it really does not matter, because it simply is not going to happen soon or at anytime in the future, whatever The Big Mo may or may not have wanted.

All fundamentalist religion is under attack from the powers that be, the Christian religion most of all, but also fundamentalist Islam.

The two will go down kicking and screaming, but go down they will, one by one or more or less at the same time.

The powers that be plan a One World Religion, so a one world religion is what WILL HAPPEN one way or another, eventually.

Various methods have been used, and could be used in the future, they include.

I. Communist and therefore big corporate money subversion at all of the top levels of all the worlds major and affiliated religious organizations

2. Yet another even more murderous created and conspired World War.

3. World wide economic collapse of unimaginable and unprecedented proportions.

4. Regular meetings at the top, that go by the name of Inter Religious Dialog. Where secret agendas are agreed, orders issued, plans made, and suggestions formulated for approval by the powers that REALLY BE.

It seems that for a bunch of people who claim to be Christians, many on this site either have never read their Bible. Or if they have, they really did not understand any of the really important MATERIAL bits of it. Still less the spiritual ones.

Which is a shame, but in no way surprising. Mainly because hardly anyone really does. While those that do, have no intention of telling their congregations, now or it seems anytime in the future.

This is for many reasons. One on the main ones being that their flocks would go half crazy, when they suddenly realize they have been very badly MISLEAD indeed. Not to say completely lied to, by the people they thought they could totally trust.

Your Vicar or priest only really knows what his theological teaching told him. Unfortunately Theological teaching establishments are the oldest and most well versed propagators of vile and manipulative disinformation yet known to mankind.

So destructive of the true WORD or God the CREATOR, that it is surprising that any of it still exists in writing at all.

Much of what you say is probably true.
Organised (by man) religion is heading for eventual disaster.
Congregations have been manipulated and controlled by unscrupulous men.
The one world order will fail.!
In fact every scheme devised by man will fail, eventually.
Until the Divine order is established we will have this constant chaos and turmoil that humanity has had for centuries.
We entered this chaos and turmoil when man embarked on the madcap idea that he could live apart from God.
