Damian McBride resigns and Gordon Brown cowers

Whatever did the British people do to deserve such a corrupt, despicable, manipulative, deceitful and mendacious government as this? New Labour was supposed to be 'whiter than white': it is blacker than the bowels of Satan.

Here we have news of a plot to smear David Cameron and other senior Conservatives with lies and malicious slander. And Damian McBride was using government computers, government time and taxpayers' cash to pursue his warped agenda. We knew Labour would fight the next election in a personal and brutal fashion, but using the machinery of Government for its evil scheme plunges the depths of amorality.

And Hazel Blears has the audacity to blame the 'right wing blogs' for corrupting the political system, accusing them of an appalling arrogance in their self-appointed role of ‘unearthing scandals, conspiracies and perceived hypocrisy’.

Guido Fawkes is sans pareil. Politicians need to learn a little humility, or the political blogs shall ensure that they are scrutinised, sifted, tamed and humbled in a fashion never before seen in British politics.

The Prime Minister must have a few questions to answer...

The lies started right at the beginning of this regime, straight after the 1997 election. It seems that any lie that keeps Labour in power, is acceptable because only Labour is capable of looking after the citizens of Britain, properly - so it is for our good.

For those without long memories, I recommend Peter Oborne's "The Rise of Political Lying" especially Chapter 3 "From truth to falsehood"

The Conservative Party lies, before 1997, seemed to be more on an individual basis, and individuals paid the price, eg Archer and Aitken. Lying seems to have become institutionalised now, and runs almost throughout the party in power, with some very honourable exceptions.

Should the unthinkable happen and ‘they’ get in for a fourth term, how long will it be before laws will be passes to curtail undesirable right wing hate speech, all for the security of the nation you understand. You read it here first!

I am going to divulge a secret. The Tories already know this, and I suspect Gordon knows all too well. But do you know why Gordon will never ever answer Cameron's questions? Let me explain.

According to a book on pathological lying: "[T]he making up of tales ... is bound up with the desire to play the role of the person depicted. Fiction and real life are not separated as in the mind of the normal author." This goes half way to explaining Gordon's strange delusional behaviour of thinking he is a global messiah that can fix the world. His initials are GB, which I suspect have been part of the motor which drove him on.

I think why a lot of people lie is because of 2 things, a) They are trying to get out of trouble, or b)into a situation they desire and would not get on their own merit. I think the sign of a true PATHOLOGICAL LIAR is when the person lying does not consciously acknowledge the lying and will deny it. Often, they actually BELIEVE their own lies. But many of you will have heard suggestions that Gordon has certain autistic qualities, which now goes the rest of the way to explain why he needs to have pathological liars to tell the lies for him.

An interesting study on pathological lying published in the October 2005, British Journal of Psychiatry, suggest that the pathological liar may have a slightly different brain than those people disposed to tell the truth. In the prefrontal cortex of the brain, pathological liars were shown to have 26% more white matter than do people with other psychological disorders who don’t lie. Previously, white matter has been linked to ability to lie. Lower amounts of white matter is typical in the brains of people with autism, who generally cannot lie, suggesting that more white matter disposes one to the increased ability to lie.

The secret is that Gordon has too little of the white matter to be a bare faced liar, and knows he cannot face off Cameron's questions with full-on lies, so he skirts around them. Am I suggesting that we have a complete fruit cake and a bunch of pathological liars running the country, WELL WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK?

Cranmer, these word verifications are becoming increasingly more insulting to be attributed to mere chance or synchronicity!

Whatever did the British people do to deserve such a corrupt, mendacious Government?

They voted for it. Twice. They can be forgiven for voting for it the first time: B'Liar was a very plausible and accomplished liar. Even voting for them the second time can possibly be explained but there really is no excuse for the third term in office. By that stage we had seen NuLabour in all its awfullness.

The fact that Labour still, apparently, attracts about 30% in the polls is an indication that a large proportion of the electorate WANT to be governed by a corrupt, lying, bullying mendacious, fraudulent and undemocratic Labour Party.

Congratulations to Paul Stains/Guido Fawkes, this story was on BBC Radio 4 News every hour, Saturday, " threatening to name and shame more of those involned " and a hint to find out more in the Sunday papers.
Is the Beeb following The Guardians lead in turning on Labour ?

Do you think that Brown McBride and Draper are what the early Labour pioneers had in mind when they fought for a classless society?

New Labour is a Marxist construct designed by ageing Young Communists to gain power in an advertising/media age. It succeeded and rode the wave of easy credit backwashing from trade surpluses in Japan and China.

It was always about power and retaining it...never about using it to benefit of anyone but those wielding it and a few paying guests

There is something rotten in the heart of Gordon Brown's Downing Street, and it has spread to places like Oxfam's HQ in Oxford, which are filled with Draper's and McBride's henchmen: Antonia Bance for instance, who is deputy director of the UK Poverty Programme, and is allegedly using Oxfam for her own party political ambitions, if you go by many of the comments on her blog.

You have reaped what you have sown, you have abandoned the Lord so he has allowed your country to follow its own track, just as he did Israel. Your bible tells you that every government is raised up by god for a purpose, you have the government you deserve, your bible also tells you to pray for your government so instead of moaning about it why not pray for them.

What did we do to deserve this mendacious despicable government?

As Anonymous of 11 April 22.31 says - the British people voted for it - three times including 1997.

A country gets the government it deserves.

Your Grace does not need to be reminded of the antics of the last tory government, who thought that they were in power for ever, and resorted to internecine warfare couple with the self serving venality of a couple of MPs.

They had the misfortune to come up against the most comsummate politicians of recent years with the capability of charming the birds from the trees. Blair set out with good intentions - his speech to party members after the 1997 vote warned them of their responsibilities and the trust put on them by the electorate. Trouble was, with a 179 seat majority the old maxim of absolute power corrupting absolutely was proven yet again.

The news media (BBC in particular) flocked to Tony's big tent and were so taken by the new goverment that they lost the inclination to question any of its decisions. Instead they continued to divert their fire on the Tories no matter what mistakes the new Government made.

The other thing was that the tories in spite of their internal problems and antics had got the economy on an even keel and the UK economy was growing, so much so that whatever wounds the labour government inflcited on it, it still proceeded to grow. But any great ship will sink if you bore enough holes in it, and now we are sinking.

The worst things that could happen are:

a) that the tories get elected with an enormous majority and fall into the same trap as did Blair.

b) the tories win but with few seats in Scotland, and that Labour lose out to the Nats in Scotland. In which case we will see a move for Scots secession. Some may think that that would be a good thing. I am not so sure - especially if a new Scots government, to demonstrate how big its balls are, espouses EU issues such as the adopting the euro or signing the schengen agreement. In which case we will be seeing the first policed land border on this island for 200 maybe 300 years.

This country needs a lot of prayers.

People vote Labour because their benefits/jobs depend on it. With such a large public sector workforce existing in a world where the private sector is in meltdown, it makes a warped kind of sense. NewLab strategy planned it that way.

I voted Labour only once in my life - during the 1997 election. I voted against my natural political instinct because I wanted to see an end to what I perceived to be a backstabbing, corrupt and incompetant government (I never voted for Major). With the early onset of the Ecclestone scandal it became obvious that Labour were somewhat less than lily white. We all know what happened next.

I will never vote Labour again.

It's about time the odious McBride was brought crashing down. It's a shame he didn't take a few more with him. However, his demise serves a good purpose because it isolates and exposes Brown even more. Brown, like the bunch of corrupt imbeciles he leads, is without honour or principles. He can't even find the decency to apologise and/or resign even though his position grows more untenable by the day. No, by the hour! Cling to power at any cost no matter what damage it inflicts on everyone else.

Sort of says it all really.

From David Lonsdale

The seeds of the present national malaise were sown by the clergy at the end of the 19th century when they rejected the fundamental truths of the scripture and adopted liberal theology. They removed the vision and we have seen the people perish.
The people now vote for a " corrupt, despicable, manipulative, deceitful and mendacious government" because it is a government in their own image.
Paul describes our nation in Roman's 1 when he writes,

" 18.For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19.Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20.For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21.Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22.Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23.And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24.Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25.Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26.For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27.And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28.And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29.Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30.Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31.Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32.Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Paul's statement describes many of the clergy.

The answer to the problem is also found in scripture; "if my people will humble themselves and pray, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land".

In the meantime, just as the Israelites were carried into Babylon, so will we continue to be a vassal state of Europe
