Ed Miliband - the face he wants us to see?
This is the picture of Ed Miliband which has been chosen for the Labour Party website. Ben Brogan asks if this is really the face the Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition and PM-in-waiting wants to present to the world.

I don't think this becomes you at all. Why not wait until after his speech today and then have a go at that ? This picture is just juvenile.
The temptation was too strong to overcome.
His Grace apologises for his juvenility.
My wife said something similar when I used the famous photo of the ugly twins from the Ozarks to illustrate a blog about David and Ed Miliband.
However, the more I see the real man.....
Simon: lighten up.
A humorous post does not preclude any impending erudite analysis of Miliband's speech.
I have to say, your Grace, the alternate version of the picture is precisely what sprang to mind when I read Brogan's blog earlier this morning!
The second funniest thing I've seen today (Abbott throwing her name in the hat for the Shadow Cabinet has to just pip it ;-) ).
Well I thought it very humorous indeed. Brought a smile to my face....
Mr Zach Johnstone, Mr Stuart,
His Grace is appreciative of your appreciation.
Mr Simon,
Just occasionally, the tiresome burden of being perpetually solemn and sober is so frustratingly restrictive that the occasional ejaculation of inane jocularity and mindless levity is wholly necessary for the maintenance of sanity.
It's not as though a bit of photoshopping wasted anything: it is not Tracey Emin's bed.
Oh dear, you should really be aware by now Dr Cranmer that if one is a stuffy humourless creature then people will criticise you as a 'typical' christian. Show a sense of humour and you're a lightweight juvenile & not worth demeaning themselves with. Well I thought it was great!
For a moment there, Your Grace, I thought your blog had been hijacked.
The Labour party have followed North Korea’s lead and anointed a successor: Kim Jong Mil

5Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
Romans 13
1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
Let us who call ourselves Christians, be salt and light to this world and be different in our responses.
