Sharia Law for Libya protest closes Oxford Street

It's curious how today's march against Government cuts is being streamed by the BBC and has made the front pages of just about all the newspapers (here, here, here, here and here...).

There was a march yesterday, too. The cause was 'Sharia Law for Libya' (and everywhere else). Sure, there were not quite the 250,000 estimated at today's march, but this one still caused the closure of Oxford Street.

But, curiously, not a whisper from the BBC. And no mention by other sections of the MSM.

In fact, one has to go to the Africa Press to find out that it took place at all.

As all the world knows, Broadcasting House is but a short walk from Oxford Street. Its motto "Nation shall speak peace unto Nation", is said to be adapted from OT Micah 4: 3 "nation shall not lift up a sword against nation".

Shari’ah law, so beloved of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

❛The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: (1) ‘Allah Mighty and Majestic sent me as a guidance and mercy to believers and commanded me to do away with musical instruments, flutes, strings, crucifixes, and the affair of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance.’ (2) ‘On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will pour molten lead into the ears of whoever sits listening to a songstress.’ (3) ‘Song makes hypocrisy grow in the heart as water does herbage.’ … All of this is explicit and compelling textual evidence that musical instruments of all types are unlawful.❜—Reliance of the Traveller, r40.1

Remember how in your day Your Grace The Crown controlled the printing press ? Well now the agreed line by our media friends censors what we are allowed to see/hear/read.

Look at WitteringWitney and see how Nigel Farage is interviewed on RussiaToday but never gets these chances on BBC. Look at Al-Jazeera and see the interviews and discussions never seen on British TV. Look at EuroNews and see how much is ignored on this island.

We live in Orwell's 1984 with a State Media influenced by telephone calls from Whitehall. I suspect Mandelson's real skill was in keeping stories out of the news and propaganda in the news.

We live in a very controlled and controlling State which is another reason I think people take to the streets

How many more pig ignorant guests can we cram into Britain I wonder?
No doubt tomorrow's census results will be used to justify hosting ever more subscribers to cultural jihad until non-Muslims are in a minority. How will the PC do-gooders feel then when they have to do as they are told instead of telling us we have it all wrong?

Interesting to see no stewards on the March, so was it Illegal? If so why didn't the police intervene, like they would have against any other illegal protest down a major highway in central London on a Friday.

Also in answer to the bloke at the end about how the US and UK armed Gadiffi. The US hasn't supplied weapons to Libya since the 70s and the UK have sold them very basic equipment to the tune of a few million quid. The vast majority of Gadiffis military is Russian, which is why all his tanks, guns and rockets have a made in Russia stamp on them.

I agree, Your Grace. Something's very peculiar about the whole setup. But, of course, they'll take the chance to show the world that the British are scum, won't they? T'others are here to show us what real class is.

One of Your Grace's links also mentions that the British protest is all 'class-based' ... sooo, whose categories are they applying?. I mean, aren't all of us presently in their 'lower class' category? For commies lower class is us wot's poor, urinary or otherwise -and since they take everything we have (our money goes to euroland; transport, utilities, airports, etc. have gone to euroland) and they're closing down anything else that stands...

Personally, I'd love to join in: except.......I'm suspicious of the apparent commie inspiration, when the government/euSSR is commie anyway. But I see the TUC is taking full credit, and as for that foreign, uspeakable, millipede...

The number estimates are interestingly varied: anything from 250,000 to half a million. I'd bet they're underinflated!

Certainly curious, but in no way surprising. Indeed what surprises myself is that the British public still insist on mainly trusting their Main Stream Media, in spite of the copious, and conclusive amounts of evidence that they cannot be trusted with anything at all; dating back as far as the main stream media has existed.

We can only speculate as to why it is the BBC has been told or has chosen to ignore this event.

What we cannot deny is that The BBC has done, whether the BBC have been directly ordered to do so, or not.

Therefore we must surely ask ourselves how many other important events, that have happened in this country or around the world have been effectively ignored, or miss-represented by our media as a whole.

For surely, especially The BBC, has a duty to report on anything that happens around the world of any political or social significance to the British people.

If The BBC cannot be trusted to do so, then why do we allow The BBC to rob us all of £145, of our hard earned, and taxed every year?

The BBC is supposed to be independent from the pressures of the commercial world, and therefore somehow essentially different from the likes of Sky TV.

The truth is that the BBC is controlled by the exact same forces that utterly control, the so called commercial sector of the mass media. This from The Daily Mail to The Guardian and back again.

Our mass media for one reason or another can clearly not be trusted to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth anymore, or any less then the worst examples of Soviet Russia during the reign of Stalin, or Nazi Germany from 1933-1945.

Get used to this fact, and then by doing so start to factor it into your thinking, whenever you believe that your opinion counts for anything. Which of course in general it does not, one tiny little bit.

However every time you turn up at a polling booth, you give these lying criminals a pass, to carry on screwing over yourselves, as well as the rest of humanity blind.

Sharia for all? Even if we don't want it? So how come the UAFers aren't breaking up this band of racists and Islamofascists? Anyone would think the UAF only clashed with whites who think sharia in the UK is a very bad idea.

Oh, wait...

Very interesting. It's quite typical of the BBC to ignore this sort of protest, as it doesn't fit with their 'Islam is cuddly' narrative. Blessed will be the day when we're no longer bothered by these bearded bigots and their tented female automata. Will there be such a day? Please say "yes".

Like the man says, ‘Just as shari’ah is coming to Libya and in Egypt, however much you may dislike it Britain will one day be governed by the shari’ah because the Muslims are rising.’

And we’ll just sit back and let it happen. Or will we?

Er, why just bash the BBC? Sky TV, costing £60 per month, compared to the BBC's £145 per year, hasn't reported it either. Nor ITV. Or did I miss it?

Perhaps, it just wasn't news worthy. A few nutters holding up traffic in Oxford Street. Happens every Saturday at football grounds!

We've watched everything else happen. Either we have a 'disconnect' between eye and mind; or the mind has evaporated; or we have a[nother] disconnect 'twixt eye and hand.

Or we've all decided to wait for God.

Meanwhile, we should not be shocked once they ratchet up the entertainment value of human and child sacrifice, etc. - along with the rest of it.

Because you're stupid enough to keep paying it. Just stop paying it and stick the money in your pocket.

Sky and ITV are not funded by the taxpayers and you can chose whether or not to put money into Murdoch's pockets. No so the BBC who are funded, by threat of law, by anyone who owns a TV. The BBC is therefore the State broadcaster and as such should not show any bias towards or against any group.

This won't happen while the BBC socialist propaganda machine continues to wipe it's backside with its charter and our money.

Which is why I said 'Vast majority' Knowing that other nations such as;
France
Italy
Yugoslavia (As it was known)
have no problem arming despots such as Gadiffi.

Have a look at how 2 weeks into the conflict in Libya a huge arms shipment of arms arrived from Belarus. Most of which are Russian.

While, everybody points the guilty finger at the Uk for supplying tear gas and such to the tune of £10 Million, Russia signed a deal the other year for around $2 Billion,
