Warsi: Time for Miliband to come clean

The Government is now being open and transparent about its meetings with media, including News International. Labour must now do the same. Ed Miliband’s Shadow Cabinet must also be open and transparent about their meetings with media organisations.

Conservative Party co-Chairman, Sayeeda Warsi said: “This Government is delivering unprecedented transparency, from local councils to the heart of Whitehall. Ed Miliband now needs to come clean. Where is his list of Shadow Cabinet media meetings? He was late in publishing his engagements with senior media executives. Then he only published his meetings back to September. Finally, under pressure, he then gave details back to May. On top of this, the Labour leader then had to correct his list to include an extra appointment with News International, fuelling suspicion that he chose a September cut-off to keep hidden a meeting with Rebekah Brooks.

“Instead of trying to score political points, Ed Miliband should get his own house in order.”

The statistics are interesting. News International average daily circulation as at June 2011 is 33.5 per cent. News International average Sunday circulation stands at 41.1 per cent.

The proportion of meetings between DCMS and News Corp and subsidiaries is below that of other departments and less than half that of Ed Miliband:

No data currently exists for Ed Miliband’s Shadow Cabinet colleagues.

Psst...Cameron is Prime Minister...it's there in the top line. If his Grace wished to hide anything then the total 28.5% average is a perfectly true figure and he could have left it at that.

Funny though how Miliband, who claims he has no hope of winning over NI and that he has hardly any meetings with them has in fact over 30%...must have slipped his mind, I guess we'll wait to see if he has missed anymore having already twice updated his 'transparent' list.

It is clear that our mass media, very much including our advertising industry, and BBC, has an enormous influence on our way of thinking, even when we believe we are paying as little amount of attention to it as we possibly can. So who ultimately controls our mass media?

The most important thing to remember about news information in particular is that if the public become stupid enough to believe that what they are being told, is all that exists which needs to be told, THE ESTABLISHMENT has won the battle and is also destined to eventually win the longest war of all. Which is, the war between US and THEM.

Let me please remind you all what our establishment currently controls, among many other things, such as the entire worlds banking, trading and insurance systems, The UN, WB, IMF, WHO, WWF, and NAFTA.

All of our top universities, bar none, as well as many of the rest of the world. Our entire civil, judicial, public, armed, and secret services. The BBC. Our entire private, and public education system.

Our establishment not only directly gives, or otherwise provides many billions of cash aid every year to these institutions, they select all of their much preferred top movers and shakers, as well as hand down all of the long, short, and medium term agendas.

You can be absolutely assured that nothing powerful, and certainly nothing as powerful as the mass media would ever have been allowed to be in anyway truly FREE, or in any way left in the hands of people like Murdoch or lowly politicians such as David Cameron, or Tony Blair.

However this control is not simply enforced from the top by some kind of daily dictate, although this does sometimes happen in the form of D notices, and other.

The real control comes from the establishments long term control over our top 'educational' establishments, such as The LSE, Oxford, Yale, Harvard and Cambridge universities.

These institutions above all else represent the future of so called civilization itself. As from which virtually all of THEIR entire Worlds top political, spiritual, mass media, scientific, military, judicial leaders, planners and thinkers are drawn.

To an almost exclusive extent, our present political, and social reality, is a product of seeds most carefully planted many years ago, within our great universities.

Our corporatist establishment, formally known as The British Empire, Black Nobility, Company, or Firm, moved to create its own opposition, so that it could control both the coming democratic thesis and anti-thesis, so could much more easily control the totally undemocratic synthesis.

Which is currently being expressed in the form of deliberately created economic boom and bust, middle-eastern and other wars, mass immigration, mass emigration, an ever more police state, systematic break down of normal family life, mass murder of the unborn, various other forms of covert population control including endemic 3rd world starvation and AIDS, International, as well as national terrorism, and of course everything to do with The EU in general, and in particular.

You do not after all, get where these people are today, and have long since been, by taking careless chances, or not thinking long term.

Atlas shrugged said (22:18) "...our present political, and social reality, is a product of seeds most carefully planted many years ago, within our great universities..."

There is much to make this appear to be so, at least immediately and superficially and in respect of the operations of the establishment at the present time. But if the Gospel is heard to speak, is it implicit that the establishment described is an emanation of (or identical to) the prince of this world, and that the birth of Jesus at Bethlehem in the time of Caesar Augustus began what was to be a process initiating the way by which the prince of this world is overcome?

Atlas Shrugged has summed up the problem rather nicely. The Roman 'Establishment' used the same tactics as our current 'Establishment' to keep the 'Plebians' from realising they are nothing but tax fodder and puppets - Pliny called it "Bread and Circuses," in our age its "Social Security and Football/Sport/Pop Stars."

The Fabian Society was set up in the 1880s to bring about a "Socialist World Order" and I'd say they have pretty much succeeded. Control of the media, education and the money supply gives you control of jobs and incomes and it allows you to weed out anyone who might 'rock the boat' and prevent them from ever reaching a position where they might do so.

Democracy? It's an illusion. Especially in modern Western Society, it operates only at a low level where it cannot impact on the bigger picture.

One organisation I notice Atlas Shrugged left out - Greenpeace. This is a multi-billion dollar organisation, funded by the UN and various western governments - take a look at who the Directors and key controllers are, and where they were educated ...
Friends of the Earth and all the related "Green" NGOs are the same and controlled by the same small groups.

The Gray Monk (8:48)mentioned "Fabian Society was set up in the 1880s to bring about a 'Socialist World Order' "

so, as a Village Explainer could say, these too may be known as of the party of the prince of this world.

And they`re all lined up for the Who Kissed The Media Barons Arse The Most Cup.

On the left, Milibland, has good form in doing whatever it takes to get to the top spot including shafting his own brother, one to watch folks.

On the right looking a little rusty is Cast Iron Dave, well known for making promises with no intention of keeping them, his contempt for voters is legendary.

Finally folks in the centre is Cleggover who`s mastered the art of flip flopping from one side of the feathered nest to the other.

Aaaaaaand they`re off, its neck and neck as they come to the first hurdle, Milibland and Cast Iron Dave go straight over and look at that, Cleggover as done a swerve and gone around the hurdle, to the water jump, Cast Iron has it by a nose from Milibland, Cleggover is lagging well behind both over safely while Cleggover seems confused and is now running in completely the wrong direction, oh dear!, coming up to the last Cast Iron has it by a head Millibland looks to be losing steam, over they go safely into the final straight now, Millibland with a final push Cast Iron holds him off and Cleggover is still going the wrong way, to the finish line aaaaaand its Cast Iron Dave who wins by 4.2 meetings.

What an utterly underwhelming race, the tiny crowd is almost comatose with boredom and who can blame them, thats all for now folks, tune in for the next race if you can be arsed, The Who Can Condemn Breivik With The Most Sincere Face Challenge.

You know the sort:

&

I am A TOORRYY!

Trying to get through to those ingrained types is mission impossible...

I can't see the point in writing generic, agreeable, conforming comments that the political eleité would be delighted with, the nodding dogs would nod(vote) some more, and the handcart would continue lurching ever downwards. And a tad boring to read and write, if you're not a political robot.

I'm pleased you used the word almost before incomprehensibly, but we both know you have the option to ignore my comment and move on, because there's nothing to see here, so why didn't you?

Curiosity? the challenge of a brain teaser? something twigged, but you're not sure what?

These are the people I write for, the thinkers.

We both know I have the option to express my opinion however I want within the protocols of accepted standard English culture and law, and you have the option to discard the crazy fools ramblings... freedom of choice. Let's leave it at that.

Though I will add the comment you reference was written in a hurry, and it should say vanity's (not vanities) and perhaps, 'the list of 10 Commandments' in the last sentence. The Pamphlet, is a reference to New Labour's extreme hard left Marxist ideology on sensitive and easily offendable subject matter, often found on the tacky little pamphlets that, so many people hold dear to their hearts.

tony, it's a simple Yes or No question,

Are you anti-African National Congress Party Yes or No?

Why the hesitation tony, is it something to do with extreme vanity and ingrained self identification?

I think so, I've said so, and I'll explain further, (rightly or wrongly - it's only my opinion) once the question has been answered with a concrete yes or no.

Hmmm.. that's a bit funny... a bit peculiar... I wonder what was going off in there?

Can you not see how I bounced you around with subtle use of the English language, to cloud and corrupt your logicically thinking abilities with emotions?

Your so trusted politicians have been doing the same to you all your life.

Difference is though, they did it to confuse you on core belief cornerstones of our English lives (successful or not? 17 hours?), I did it to help clarify.

You not pleased with the -B? It's only a silly expression of my opinion, but it's real, look at all the silent bushel types, here and throughout the rest of the media, at least you made some sort of effort at the Plate, it's more than the silent pseudo-intellectual chunterers have ever managed on this subject, upto this point in time.

Could tacky Pamphlet worshipping have something to do with the Church's numbers declining decade after decade.... so the solution is what exactly?

More courageous easy life bushel darkness and silence? Happy reaping fluffers!

I've book marked this thread and I'll periodically check it in the future for awhile, and if you change your mind, and fancy a crack at Q2...

But, it's quite an extreme problem, and extreme opinions tend to create extreme circumstances and emotions, so it'll get a bit bumpy. Very in fact.

A time to destroy, and a time to build.

Is that why you keep going on about the ANC, you think I'm John Pilger ( of Satan, one of the two).

Gerk ..

His Grace has indicated he would like this to cease, and out of courtesy to him, I am now ceasing. Do try to calm down a bit. It's not good for you to get all het up like this.
